Prepare in two directions: rehearse your answers to values-based questions, and bring your own questions to evaluate the school. Bruce Brown built interview tools for both sides of the table. On your side, expect questions about character, not just tactics — your personal core values, the best team you have ever been part of, what integrity and commitment look like in daily behavior, and whether you will accept accountability to the program's covenants. On the school's side, use the moment when the committee asks, *"Do you have any questions for us?"* Ask what the athletic department stands for, how it defines success, and how long coaches stay. Then rate each answer a Green, Yellow, or Red Light.

## What questions should I ask when interviewing for a coaching job?
