There have been many stories from history that can help us build teams for today. When members of a team understand how teams are built and can see the same vision as their leadership does, great things can happen.
The purpose of this booklet is to provide coaches with messages to inspire young people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to focus on the importance and power of teamwork in their lives. The best compliment any athlete can receive is that they are a great teammate. The best times of our lives are when we are part of something bigger than ourselves, and the best use of our energies and talents is to contribute to others – to create a team.
